AI Usage Statement

 I do not use artificial intelligence to write, edit, proofread, or index content. All built-in AI features in software are disabled by default. I offer fully human, hands-on editorial services.  If you have used AI at any stage of your project—whether in fiction or nonfiction—please disclose its use to me, and in what capacity. 

Writing and editing require a deep understanding of context, content, language, and linguistic nuance, which AI tools cannot replicate. While AI can generate text and flag surface-level patterns, it cannot engage with the layered complexities of human communication.

Using AI for writing wihout disclosing its use compromises the integrity of the work and undermines the relationship between you and I, and you and your reader.  I also need to know if AI has been involved because it changes the editorial approach, content checks involved, and the kinds of language adjustments required. My services are grounded in experience, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of language, which ensures your project receives the full benefit of human editorial judgment. . 

 A quick note: You may notice a “Powered by GoDaddy Airo” label at the bottom of this website, which refers to GoDaddy’s built-in AI tool (for those who wish to use it). Despite my efforts to delete it permanently, it keeps reappearing. If you see it while visiting my site, it is because it is a platform default and has reappeared. Please know that I did not use it when creating this site's content, and its presence does not reflect my process or values.
